Howdy, I'm Dirk. Just a simple guy that is a jack of all trades and a master of none. I have 2 sons that keep me on my toes at all times. I have spent most of my professional career in public service as a firefighter, EMT, respiratory therapist, and correctional officer. Through the years I have learned to deal with many stressful situations and how to maintain a positive attitude while doing so. I used to be a nerd but now many of the things that made me nerdy have become popular. Gaming used to be my number 1 hobby, and although I got away from it for a while, my boys are getting me back into it. Have always been a movie critic, and enjoy cinemasins among many others on youtube. Just really here to give an encouraging word and a shoulder for those who might need it.
