As someone who has always been the "therapist" friend, I pride myself on being able to engage in active listening. I find interest in a vast majority of things, even if I had never considered learning about it before. I am not limited to a select few interests, and I would be loathe to become that way. I love to learn and connect, and to create safe spaces for others when they may not have one.
